What Happens in Therapy

There is no prior discussion of 'the problem'!

Whilst it may seem a gross oversimplification…you sit in a comfortable chair, eyes closed, totally aware, letting your mind wander while your therapist gently talks to you. For most, it is an extremely pleasant experience. But the apparent simplicity belies the very potent subconscious changes that it induces to allow the healing process to “become unstuck”. Most natural things are simple – yet extremely powerful.

There are usually three sessions. This allows you to limit both the time and money investment. The first session can be about 1½ hours. The first session involves a full explanation of how and why PST will work for you. Sessions 2 and 3 typically take about 1¼ hours.

It should also be added that therapy does not involve the dredging up of painful experiences. Indeed it is not even essential to disclose your symptoms to your therapist. The therapy is called PRIVATE for good reason. Extremely unusual though this approach may seem it accelerates your progress, but this will all be explained by your therapist. There is no touching, no drugs.

It is appreciated this may appear to be 'too good to be true' but that is exactly how it is. Yet this simple, gentle, yet powerful process can dissolve depression that has existed for 40 years, war nightmares existing for 60 years and mend failing relationships often in weeks not years.
